Danescape to my eyes was the best of the triallers. Travelled sweatly not let down and won its trial with ease full sister to Blur and Shrewd Rhythm who showed up early. Laughed when I looked at the paper an read no one had it in there top four. I'll take the 6-1 if you want to give to me. Obviously know nothing about the Hayes pair but the trainer gave them a push on radio so the Choisir colt Helpman goes in as next best - then Stoneblack who has a nice big stride and Flemington should suit.

The Tiger is a great bet in this. Have already been down the street to knock off the 21's. The place value appeals to me the most. In saying that I still think he can win. This horse on raw talent went stride for stride with Carnero on debut, beating others in that maiden by seven or so lengths. He beat Definitive last start comfortably and looked very strong in doing it. Definitive has recognised city form. This race is wide open and there's nothing special about any of the others Miles Above perhaps has the most abililty but may have to come from an awkward spot to win drawn low and misses the start. 5 trainers have gone for blinkers first time - that says to me there already clutching at straws. Very confident about this horse The Tiger, there's no speed in this race he can roll foward from one, and with the rail going from 15 - 9m within a week - if there is to be any advantage it will be with leaders on the rail. Miles Above second best and then the steady Paddy O'Reilly.

Easily the best bet on the programme and I've been patiently waiting for this horse to reappear again in Heart Of Dreams. The full brother to Rightfully Yours was going up to battle Whobegotyou before it got knocked down still recovered well to charge home late on debut. Then he went to a strong Kilmore maiden where Nato, Mortal, Lagomar, Deutche and others were running and there was an avanlanche of money for him around the $1.80 mark. So on form tick, but the reason why we do all the tapes etc. on horses is to see a red hot galloper and this is the best horse coming through in my book. Put as much as you can afford on him. Bhutane Dane was very good over 1200m at Roseill, brilliant in fact and will give the top rater a race on form. Rockdale and Bombard to fight over third placing. Rockdale is better than last start and might have the favours on the rail, and I think Bombard has ability.

Banana Man for me in this. Excellent patient ride last start. This horse smacks of 2500m at Flemington and looks a good bet down in the weights. Every other horse in this race has convictions and tipping the minors is a matter of finding those with the least number. Selected Dolphin Jo who according to the trainer is going better than last year and won this race last year. That's good enough for me, in that race it exposed Light Vision a little who ran a disappointing third. Arguably he's going better, but that must count for something. Inkster and Kibbutz are next best. Moatize I think is a good lay in this race. Needs everything to go his way to win. And being wide and back I don't think will suit on this particular track today.
