Flemington

Race 1- All the money came for Gamble Me in the first, but I would say much to punters suprise the instructions were to take a sit on that horse. I'm sure punters would have steered away if they knew that about Gamble Me. As it turned it was won typically by the best horse with the clearest run Rose Ceremony. Rose Ceremony much improved on it's first up run when it blew up on the pace. We liked here then hope a few stuck with her. Gibrator Campion was the best run in the race of not much to draw upon.

Race 2- Pins on Parade, I told you this horse is a weapon. Must admit when I first went through and did my best bets Pins on Parade was the one, but I thought you might be bored of me picking the same horse. I won't make that mistake again. Needless to say we got stuck in to Pins On Parade. He settled much better as suggested with Winkers and the run within seven days. Broke away from the field and was chased by a good one in Riva San. Follow both of them. Barbaricus was well ridden and looked good in third again. Oronero ok, Hussonic ???, El Daana will find out later if the spruikers are right. Not showing me enough yet El Daana.

Race 3- Molotov used Blessed too advantage and was a little better. Blessed was a best bet and if you took 5.50 SP you got a little return on an eachway investment. Personally I lumped all money on the place as supsected her "motor" would carry her along way. Hope you read that right, and had a big place bet on it too. Douro Valley stuck around ok. Reggie ran on.

Race 4- Bird Dancer looked the winner on the line. Orange County was lucky to win that. Bird Dancer was going away from the Orange County on the post...this should have been a huge result. How funny?? No one wanted a bar of Bird Dancer 13-1 , it was clearly the best run in the race and if it had a slightly more clearer run at the top of the straight it would have beaten Orange County by a length. Oh well we hammered the place we weren't going to miss out there. Flash Coupe ok. Archie Senior will be fitter for that. King of Ashford told you he's no good.

Race 5- Suggested here there was no pace in the race, and M.Rodd figured this out and assertively took the race on with Devil Moon drawing 20 and finding the lead with ease. That's where this race was won. Smart ride good horse Devil Moon. Eskimo Queen, she's a good little horse with a nice turn of foot, Is she the next She's Archie find out in my Cups Guide?? Good run, Bellini Rose again good. Juste Momente not much good, maybe the firm surface found her out. That's about all.

Race 6- Tan Tat De Lago ouch! Love this horse and what a win. We did the form on them running down the outside rail, and I thought she may not handle it out there and that's why I left her out. I suggest to get straight back on her. Tan Tat De Lago thrashed these no excuses. Sleek Chassis...Dwayne Dunn, you'll be lucky to retain the ride there mate. In his words he suggested in hindsight he should have led. What was your plan going in???? Of course you should have led, and you should have been much more positive than you were!!!! Can someone get me Craig Williams please. Of the others Scenic Blast ok, Purrealist...he'll be a bookmaker's favourite. Forensics ok. Chinchilla Rose, what spazo's would back a horse drawn one that gets back on the rail at Flemington over 1200m...figure it out! She was a good run though.

Race 7- Marasco 2.80 SP wow that's a good price for a spruik horse. Probably worth it in the end. Good win, handed to it. Apache Cat so so...1400m. Zipping suggested he would be the value place bet and at $3.10 he proved to be. Tawqeet finished last something must be amiss there. Maldivian there were suggestions that he raced a little fresh so keep that in mind about Maldivian.

Race 8- Bon Hoffa loved the clear galloping room it achieved down the middle of the track and proved too good. Swick to run second from barrier one is an excellent effort. Flash Trick to run well on a dry surface is huge, he must be back. But remember he ran huge first up last campaign and did nothing after that so beware about Flash Trick. Roman Squire got knocked out of it mid-race and came again, interesting action, but good effort.

Race 9 - Master O'Reilly is he a Cups Contender??? Cups Guide 2007. Good win came away. Red Lord held his form, Magnetic Solid. Not much to say for the rest. We specced Monte Cassino at the big odds over-raced alot early on and couldn't go with them when sprinted. Still going on the line...jury's out.

Three best bets over the weekend. Barlinnie won 2.60, Blessed second 5.50, Viatorian won 8.60. What a genius!!!
