Darakan

4.2

Big poweful horse that put it together after failing at debut on a really heavy track. It didn't beat a heap before turning out but did it easily. True there was a bias when it won at Werribee but still looked good in winning. I like the placement of running it at Sandown. More confident the dryer the track given that it's a son of Desert Sun with a heavy track failure already. Would need to be a slow 6 or better to be confident of a good performance.

Not My Pic

4.8

Loves wet tracks and should get the lead here or sit outside. Will be over the odds might be a good place bet in case something is a bit too good.

Molexio

6.5

This race suits as it brings a fitness edge on a wet track. Don't leave him out.

Redwood Park

11.0

Has ability but would probably would want it dryer.

Just Like El

2.8

Stormed home last start when was in a bit of trouble before the turn. Not likely to be favourite but and will be great value in this.

Canitella

4.6

Won easily at Bendigo but I think she will be under the odds here, favour the top rater.

Shesha

7.0

This track should suit, capable horse.

Supriym Story

11.0

Change of stable and went ok last start.

Day Out

2.1

Got the favours last start, but was coming off a big trial win and no suprise it won well. Drawing wide in the last race shouldn't be a problem as there is enough horses here that get along way back and given that it should be ridden relatively assertively. This horse should absolutely storm this in, based on a bit of ability and a serious lack of any competition.

The Roman

6.0

Will be strong all the way and will give a sight, watch the odds and look for place overs.

Afterburn

6.5

Up in grade but this is not tough, should round out the trifecta.

Racy Alice

12.0

Will be backed in this because of an excellent second up record. Have my doubts about this little mare running up the Sandown straight though. Fourth best due to a lack of depth.
